Chapter 13: Let it out Part 2

Hi y'all. This chapter is really too long, and i'll just apologize for that now. I've I had this written for about two months now and I wanted to add to it but everything I wrote was just not fitting. So I didn't even want to hold it another month and have y'all continue to wait. I don't even know if anyone reads this still, but I hope y'all do because I have great things in store for the story :) Enjoy the chap and if you have any thoughts on anything please comment. It helps me a lot. But since It's been a while Im not gonna be pushy about it.
- Jodi

It was dark in the studio, as Nicki sat relaxed listing to a new beat. It was 6pm now. She'd stayed later than she expected, and Wayne had already left her to catch a flight, so it was just her in and Rick. She wasn't sure why, but she'd always wanted to cover drake's Marvin's room. Her mixtape clearly came secondary to her album, but moments like this she didn't want to create an all new song. She wanted her view to be shown, on songs she felt touched by.
She sat there with her elbows on the table and her hands clasped around her forehead. She was in deep thought. She wasn't in a dark place now, but not too long ago she was, and this song was bringing some of those emotions back. She wasn't sure how long this happiness would last, but she was hoping for  forever.
"You ready?" Rick said turning around in his chair.
She looked up at him.
"Yea..." She answered in a faint voice.
She pushed herself away from the table and got up to walk into the booth. As The door shut behind her she placed her note pad on the Music sheet stand, and lightly placed the headphones over her head. She moved her messy bun out the way so it could lay flat. She looked out the window to James giving her a thumbs up signaling that he's starting the music. When the beat began to play she mimicked the woman's voice in the beginning of the song.
"Hello?.....yea I just left the shoot....
I never went to bed...you said you were gonna stop by....oh... it's cool I was busy anyway..." She stopped and lifted one Side of the headphone off her ear.
"How'd that sound?" She asked Rick.
He worked a couple controls up and down on the wide control board.
"It sounds great. You didn't miss a beat."
"Alright! Run it back for me and imma just add on to it!" She said writing more lyrics to her note pad.
Rick did as told, and she got into the song more and more as the mellow beat spoke to her soul. Rick could tell she had a lot to say on this track by how fast she was writing lyrics down, and recording them right there and then. She'd taken off her velvet jumpsuit jacket and wrapped it around her waist. Leaving herself in a whites V-neck t-shirt. She scribbled out some words, and replaced them with new ones. She began to sing the chorus mimicking drake's original melody.
"Fuck this new dude that you seem to be, I know times have changed but that don't mean so do we,"she sang.
She was a little more than half way through the song when she was out of lyrics.

She slid the headphones off her head and placed them on the Stand and came out the booth. Rick did what he usually does as she walked back over to her chair. Her phone lit up from a text notification. She has missed a whole conversation in the group chat with Sherika, Candi & TT.
She didn't feel like reading all the messages, so she interrupted them.
"Y'all blowing up my phone what are you guys talking about?"
Immediately they responded
Rikaaaaaaaa: Nicholas you're talking to us again!
Nicki'sTT: well look who finally decided to come out of hiding. CandiStripper: you been lowkey for a whole 72hrs and that's how you greet us? Girl bai.
Nicki's mouth dropped dramatically, and type back.
"Wow you guys are rude, only person happy to hear from me is Rika; barely."
CandiStripper: bitch...pls
Nicki'sTT: whatever.
Rikaaaaaaaa: if I wasn't happy to hear from you why would I be inviting you to my place for girls night? Oh okay.
"Oooooo girls night. It's been forever since the last one, I wanna come! What time?"
CandiStripper: nah you can stay home.
Nicki'sTT: Oop.
Rikaaaaaaaa: lmfao Candi stop! But 7:30, imma cook some curry chicken!
"Ok I'm definitely coming. I'm at the studio right now, Imma pack up now and I'll see y'all there."
CandiStripper: aight
Rikaaaaaaaa: kk
Nicki'sTT: ok. Candi I'll call you when I'm near your hotel.
Nicki locked her phone since the conversation was over. She pushed away from the table, and slid her jacket back on. She gathered her notepad and pen and stuffed it in her large Louis V bag. She grabbed her phone and was about to head out the door her phone buzzed again. It wasn't the girls though, it was Tony.
Tony: "hey Nicole, you wanted to meet up again and talk? I'm free now, you want me to stop by?"
She bit the inside of her lip thinking about her reply. It was evident he'd taken a liking to her just by how supportive he's been. But Nicki was slightly uncomfortable that he already felt okay with dropping by the house. She knew he was a nice guy, no doubt about it, but this friendship has blossomed faster than Nicki had expected. She was soon going to set the standard straight.
Nic: "Hey TonyTone! I'm actually not home, in kinda busy so I'll hit you up when I'm free. Thanks." And with that she ended the convo. She was ready to stop being called Nicole. He'd only seen her in her natural state. so that's probably why he hadn't made the connection. She hadn't debuted her new natural look to the world yet. But she didn't feel like dealing with that right now. She just wanted to chill with her girls. She told Rick she was done for the day and walked out letting the big wooden door shut behind her.
--------
The time seemed to be crunching faster and faster as Safaree rushed his way to the average sized building. He briefly checked the time on his golden Rolex. It read '6:55'. He had five minutes to spare, if he was going to make it. He parked and hopped out his car entering the semi circle waiting room. He heading to the first window he saw, but it seemed to be closed. So he took a step back taking in the view of all for windows and no one was there. He quickly checked his watch again and it now read '6:58'. He frantically banged on the window calling out how much time left till closing. After is seconding calling a slim elderly Indian woman approached from a side door towards the window. She asked him what he would need like she did with everyone. He informed her it would be a deposit, and She nodded in comprehension as she typed a couple things in her assigned desktop computer. Safaree shuffled through his pockets too pull out his hefty leather wallet. The woman behind the counter's over worked demeanor had changed when she saw the Wad of money Safaree had retrieved from his wallet.
"That's 500,000." He informed the woman.
Her eyes widened. She straightened her posture trying not to make her astonishment visible.
"You can count it later if you want, but it's five hundred thousand. Trust me."
She gave him a slight nod of relief. Setting the wad of money aside she slid his ID and credit card back through the metal fixture between the glass and Safaree.
He received it, and put the cards in his wallet. And with that he left without formally dismissing himself.

Chapter 13: Let It Out

HEY Y'ALL!!!!!!!!!!!! I missed you guysssss so much! I know y'all just wanna read so I'm not even gonna explain what happened to the blog for a little bit. But anyways this chapter is pretty chill. You guys will be getting an update very soon after this chap. So GO READ AND ENJOY!!!! Forgive me if there are any spelling errors or anything, I didn't edit this chap too well because I just wanted to get it out to you guys.- Lots of Love,

Jodi

There was a loud knock on the door that shook her out of her comfort for a moment. Mrs. Samuels set her wooden cooking spoon on the counter, and quickly wiped her hands on her apron as she headed to the door. She was expecting a friend over, so she didn't bother to look to see who it was. She unlocked a door; ready to great her guest with a wide smile.
"I was just about to-" when she looked up to see three men with hard facial expressions her smile dropped almost immediately.
"Um...Can I help you young men?" She asked.
"Yes ma'am. Actually you can. We came here to see SB," the guy standing in between the other two men tried to scan the inside of the house from his view.
"Is he here?" They all stepped closer as if she had offered them to come in.
She closed the door a little but more only poking her head out.
"I'm sorry but no he's not. He's been gone for a while. He doesn't come around here,"
She said hoping they'd allow her to leave it at that.
"Well alright ma'am. If you hear from him tell him his boy James wants to meet up. We haven't talked in a while," the first man said with a fake smile on his face.
"Alight I will. You guys take care, and God Bless," she said finally being able to shut the door.

She quickly peeked out the side window to see if they had really left. They were slowly piling into to a long black Cadillac Escalade. Once they were all in they sped off out of the fairly quiet Brooklyn neighborhood. She pulled away from the window, and called her daughter down.
"NEEK! Come here one second,"
Safaree's sister came cautiously down the stairs while carrying her new born baby.
"Yea mom? What's the matter?" Neek questioned.
She could tell her mom was a little shaken up by something.
"Do you know Safaree's friend James?"
Neeks eyes widened. Hopefully not wide enough to alarm her mother.
"No...no not that I can remember," she stuttered.
"Oh ok. Well I was just checking. He just stopped by asking for him...which is weird that he wouldn't know that Safaree wasn't even in town. But I'll let Safaree know next time he comes."
Neeks rocked her baby a little bit more than usual our of nervousness.
"I'm gonna go change her diaper. Call me down when dinner is ready," she said as she quickly went up the stairs. When she reached her room on the far end of the hall, she gently placed her baby on the bed, and practically ran to the side table to get her phone. She wasted no time dialing Safaree's number. As the phone began to ring she paced back and forth.
"Hey you've reached gali, don't leave a message cause I don't check that shit. VVS!"
"Ughhh" Neek grunted out of frustration.
She dialed back about 10 times, and still no answer. She settled for a text message, and told him.
"James came to the house today. You need to handle that ASAP..."

*****
*At the studio*
Safaree walked in on a concentrated Nicki as beyonce's voice blared through the speakers. "You wake up, flawless. Post up, flawless. Ridin' round in it, flawless..." Nicki bobbed her head listening to the beat. She pressed a button on the large control panel, and replayed that part. "You wake up, flawless Post up, flawless Ridin' round in it, flawless." As her lips moved she quickly wrote some word play that she was coming up with. Safaree saw that she was focused so he took a seat on the black leather couch behind her. She continued to replay the music & Bob her head. She had written down some more verses. She paused for a second and cut the music off. She sat there tapping her pen on the table as a way to keep the beat when she read her new lyrics back to herself. She put  her pen down and sat back in her chair.
"Hey Rick, go ahead and get the instrumental incorporated. I think I'm ready to record this."
Rick, Nicki's studio technician gave her a thumbs up as he started prepared the track.
Nick turned around in her swivel chair to meet Safaree.
He was smiling at her.
"What?" She said blushing.
She was gonna have to get use to having positive energy between them. She'd gotten so use to them arguing that she forgot what it felt like from them to be cool.
"Nothing...just observing how hard you work. I admire that about you a lot," he complemented.
She stuck her lip out and her dimples made an appearance.
"Aw thank you Safaree."
"I always say this but I really mean it; thank you for always being here through all the rough days."
"Nic it's no problem and you know that. I'll always support you. I'm your number one Fan."
She out her hand on her heart.
"And I'm yours!"
She put out her fist for them to fist bump, and he met her half way.
"So actually Wayne is about to be here soon, but you know he's usually  late like me."
"So basically...In translation...you're scared to tell him," he stated smartly.
Nicki let her head fall back on the chair, and sighed.
"Yes,"
He chuckled.
"Safaree this isn't funny in the slightest bit. What if he gets mad? My third album is supposed to drop soon, and maybe he had marketing plans for me that won't work now," she whined.
Safaree sat up and rested his elbows on his knees.
"If he gets mad then that'll be a talk me and him will have to take up man to man. I can't have him making you feel bad for normal situations. But let's be realistic, he's not spiteful like that Nic you know him. If anything, he's gonna support you," Safaree informed.
"Plus that man has eighty kids himself, I'm sure he'll understand," she giggled at his last comment.
"You dead wrong for that! Don't be clowning my mans like that," she laughed pointing at Safaree.
"Come sit down," he asked her.
"But I really should focus on this verse."
"But Safaree wants you to chill with him. So come sit."
"Ugh do I have to?" She gave him a stank face, as if she would never do that in a million years.
He flipped his middle finger up at.
"I'm kidding," she laughed as she got up and sat in his lap.
She wrapped her arm around his neck and rested her head on his shoulder. He rested his hand on hips as he whispered words near her neck. Rick was distracted by her giggling and snuck a peek at what they were doing. He wasn't use to them being so affectionate. It had been a while since they even got along. He wondered what had suddenly changed. He turned his focus back to his computer before he got caught looking.
Nick squirmed in his arms at the tickling sensation she got when he spoke there. She decided to go along and do the same to him. And he started to jump a little too. He paused for a second.
"Why you always gotta play dirty?niggas is tryna have a conversation with your neck. Let me do me," he joked.
She lifted her head up as if she wa in shock.
"How you gone say I play dirty when I'm tryin' to work, and you acting like you just want me to sit down with you. Which is not the case."
"You Sittin with me is work."
She raised an eyebrow.
"In what way?" She laughed.
He shifted his position so that she could feel his dick.
She gasped.
"You know what? I can't with you. You're too much! Pauz."
She swung her legs over the couch and got up.
He laughed at her.
"I'm messin' with you" he said as she say back in the chair.
"Mmhmm Whatever." He rolled the chair towards him and he leaned in to kiss her.
She put her hand on his forehead stopping him.
"Um no. Don't even think about it!"
"Com'on Nic. Let a nigga just get one."
She stared at him with a straight face. She wasn't changing her mind.
"Okay, you either give it to me or I'm gonna take it myself. So pick one." She huffed. She out her hands on his face and pulled him.
"Just one!" she whispered softly on his lips.
And in seconds their lips had met for a sweet simple kiss. She held it for a while and released him.
"MUAHHHH," he said dramatically.
She laughed.
"Now don't ask me again fugly boy."
He gave her a mean look.
"Ok just for that I get another one."
She rolled her eyes and gave him a quick peck.
"Again!" He said like a excited little boy.
She leaned in and pecked him again.
"One more." He said being annoying.
"LAST ONES! You annoying fucker."
 He counted.
"One..." She pecked him.
"Two..." She pecked him again.
"And for the grand finale THREE," she pulled him in by his shirt and locked her lips with his way more passionately than he'd expected. He kissed her back. Just when he was about to pull her on his lap again they were interrupted.
"Well Damn." Wayne's voice echoed.
Nicki Jumped at the unexpected interruption.
"Looks like I came to the wrong party," Wayne Joked.
Nicki smoothed her long black her down.
"Oh my gahd," she said revealing her NY accent.
"This is mad awkward."
Wayne laughed and fully entered the studio.
"Chill Barbie. This yo playground I shoulda knocked or some shit."
Safaree wasn't the slightest bit embarrassed. He actually felt good about it. He loved to be able to show affection to Nicki when others were around. He stood up and dapped Wayne up.
"What's up man!"
"What's good Scaffbeezy."
"Nothing much just tryna get my weight up like you and baby!"
"Word! I got you! I see you been stuntin on Instigator with them bikes."
"Yea yea you know I gotta do it for the people one time!" Safaree gloated.
"Im thinking bout getting one myself. So when I do imma hit you up!"
"Yea for sure. Anytime,"
Nicki looked at them with a glare.
"You guys are such boys."
"Act like a boy, but work hard like a man."
"Who asked you to make my insult sound good," Wayne smiled.
He wasn't much of a laughing person but you could tell when he was filled with humor.
Safaree sat down back on the couch as Nic welcomed Wayne to sit in the other roller chair next to her.
"So what does the queen have to tell weezy F baby?"
Nicki was taken aback that he just got straight to it. She rubbed her hand together nervously and glance at Safaree worried. Wayne senses the atmosphere change.
"Geez it's that serious you lookin at Scaffbeezy for words?" Wayne joked.
"What is it?"
"What I'm about to tell you might seem like it'll affect my work but I promise you it won't. You know I'm a hard worker, and I wouldn't do anything to sabotage my business. The album is still being worked on and it'll remain on schedule."
Wayne was getting a little irritated. She's never really this serious.
"What is it Nic?" He questioned again.
Safaree looked over at her and she really looked like she was having a hard time telling him. Why was she this scared. Safaree got up and stop behind her chair.
"I'll tell him," He told her.
When he said that you tell all of Nic's tension released.
"Wayne she found out the other day some serious news...she found out that we're having a baby."
The room was silent. They both searched for a reaction on Wayne's face. And seconds later a smile crept up on is face.
"Wow. Nic," he said in shock.
"Wow this is really Good news. Why'd you Set this up as if it was bad news?"
She let a deep breath.
"Because I wasn't sure how you would feel with all that's supposed to be going on business wise right now," she confessed.
"Nic everyone has personal business to take care of why would I be mad? What could I tell you anyways? You can't have the baby?" Wayne chuckled, but nicki didn't really join in. It reverted her mind back to previous decisions she made in her first pregnancy.
"See I told you he'd be fine," Safaree reassured her.
"Yea see? I'm good!"
Nicki smiled. She was nervous about this, but it went way better than she expected.
"The only thing I say is talk to your PR because a lot of shit needa happen before you start showing."
"Yea exactly what I was saying." Nicki agreed.
"Actually I have a question the shipping process for this album. How does it work if I don't want anyone to really know I'm dropping it?" She asked him.
"Oh you tryna do a Beyonce? I see. Well first you gotta..."
Safaree got pulled away from their conversation when his phone buzzed. It was a text message from his sister; it read,

Neek the man: WTF Safaree answer my calls and messages.

He was confused. No one had contacted him all day so how could he have missed that? He looked at his call log and he had missed 32 calls. His eyes bucked. He went back to his messages and when he read Neek's previous message he immediately became stiff. He clenched his teeth in anger. He needed to talk Neek quickly. He shoved his phone back in his pocket. And interrupted their conversation.
"My bad," he put his hand up excusing himself.
"Hey I gotta for run to the bike shop. A part of mine just came in and they called me to pick it up."
"Ok. So you gonna meet me back home or I'll just see you at home?" She asked looking up at him.
"Imma just see you at home," he said quickly bending down and kissing her forehead.
"Alight bye babe."
By the time she said babe Safaree was out the door running to his car.
Never did he think James would stoop that low and go to his mothers’ house. He was going to handle this shit.

Chapter 12: Loving You A Second Time

This chapter is pretty chill, and it's pretty long so get Happy!
Anyways ENJOY and PLEASE tell me what you guys are thinking. Thanks.
- Love Jodi

Nicki sat on her beige couch that Monday morning sitting in front of the heated fireplace, thinking about none other than Safaree. She was supposedly writing important things down, but she was just doodling love hearts. She’s just in such a happy place right now. That new news would soon change everything, and she needed a game plan. Nicki picked up her blinged out Barbie iPhone, and typed “Hey Wayne, I’ve got big news. Idk how you’re going to take it, but we need to talk. So hit me up when you can. Love you lots." Once she sent the text she tossed her phone back on the couch. She was so focused on thinking about what Wayne would say back she didn’t even realize that Safaree had walked into the living room. He walked up to her still shirtless, and in his pajama pants. His chiseled chest didn't even catch her eye like it usually did, or his tattooed arms. She felt his presence looking down at her. Nicki looked up at him like she was too busy to talk. She was in her own world; she didn't want to be bothered. Safaree knew this face. He knew all faces of Nicki. But this one looked a little different. She looked like she was out of it, or daydreaming. He wondered if these were the pregnancy moods starting already, or was he just being paranoid. Safaree smiled down at her anyways. This was the woman he was in love with, since he was 14, and she was carrying his baby. He was in love, and he couldn't be any happier.

“Hey baby mama,” He said, as he went and took a seat on the couch next to her. He pulled her into his lap.
Her annoyed expression soon left her face as a small smirk replaced it. She placed her notebook to the side. She stared at him for a little bit before slowly getting off of him; she wanted to take things slow so that they would actually last this time around. Safaree didn't see it as anything and followed her. He stepped into her personal space causing her chest and Safaree’s chest to lightly press up against each other.

“Hey baby daddy,” She said seductively revealing her dimples.

He wrapped his arms around her waist, and abruptly pulled their bodies even closer. It was clear slow was the last thing he wanted to go. He bent down, and kissed her forehead. He pulled her back down with him onto the comfortable L shape sofa.
“What are you down here thinking so hard about?” He questioned releasing his grip.
She straddled him and picked up her notebook she had been writing in.
“Just a game plan,” She answered doodling love hearts in the back of the book as Safaree peered over her shoulder to see what she had in that little notebook of hers.
“For what?” Safaree pushed her for some more answers. He was use to Nicki coming up with weird things. But this was just bizarre.
“What you mean for what? You know...Now that I’m pregnant...“ She paused and thought about what she just said.
He looked at her puzzled when she didn’t continue. She was smiled into his bare chiseled chest that she loved so much.
“What?” he asked. Looking down at her.
“ I’M PREGNANTTTTTTTTTTTT,” She screamed.
Safaree laughed at her silliness. He was glad to see her this happy.
“Like faree... this is REALLY happening,” She said in a trance.
“Yea it is! You think you ready?”
“Me? I’ve been ready! Imma be the best mommy the world has ever seen,” She boasted.
“What about me?”
“Yea yea. You'll be aight, ” she joked.
“Oh okay play me like that then,” They laughed together.
“No but seriously, a lot of things are gonna change. I need to speed up this album process. I know I said I didn’t want to rush, but that’s the only option right now. I know after the baby I won’t have nearly as much time. And I haven’t even talked to Manny yet. I gotta tell him there’s no way I can do promo when I put the album out, because I’ll be too far along by then. My babies are gonna be so mad, but it’s what I have to do. AND on top of everything I gotta tell wayne. Like Ugh, I don’t know how I’m gonna do all of this,” She said worried.
Safaree stared at her with a blank face.
“ Are you done rambling?”
She gave him a dead face.
“Look Nic everything is going to be okay. I’ll figure everything out in the studio, and i’ll talk to Manny about scheduling and stuff”
"Really?" She asked excitedly.
"Yea. I make sure my woman ain't worrying her little head," He said sweetly as he ran is hands down her long natural hair.
“Thanks faree! but What about wayne?” She asked concerned.
“Oh you on your own with that one.”
“What? Why?”
He laughed. “He’s your boss not mine,”
“You’re a jerk.” She said picking her notebook up and getting off him.
He shook is head smiling, ignoring her pout.
Moments later it fell silent. Nicki was over in the kitchen actually planning something in her book. She looked over her notes intently. Safaree gazed at her overworking nature. They weren’t use to being so talkative with each other. It had been a while since they had been cordial. Before the pregnancy event, they had been going at it daily. It got so bad that they practically avoided conversation. So Safaree didn’t know whether to enjoy this silence, or be slightly worried their relationship was only built on sex, and not actual bonding moments. Nicki abruptly ending the silence with her sudden “ah ha” moment.
“OH! I forgot to tell you. We need to tell my mommy about this addition,” She said subconsciously rubbing her barely noticeable bump.
“Uh you sure you want to tell her now? Maybe we should wait a li-“
“Wait for what?” She looked at him sternly.
He could tell by the change in her attitude that he had said the opposite of what she wanted to hear.
“I don’t, i’m just a little nervous you know?” He stuttered.
Truth be told he thought they should wait until she got further a long in case there are some side affects from the alcohol, and might affect the baby. He didn’t want to get the family attached and then have to detach them from the situation.
“Yea I get it, but I know if I don’t tell mommy soon she’ll find out.”
“How?”
“The hell if I know! She got some weird mother instinct type shit. I’ll never understand it. She knows when i’m holding secrets. I remember this one time I came from school and she knew immediately that I was holding back something.”

*Flash Back*

I opened the door to our small two-bedroom house. I skipped class after first period today, but she shouldn’t find out, because of the way I did it. I smelt the food she was cooking.
“Hey mommy,” I greeted her, dropping my backpack on the couch like I always did.
“Hi baby how was school,” She asked me focusing on the food.
“It was good. I’m gonna go upstairs to take a shower. P.E. was the worst today.” I rushed toward the steps, but she called me back.
“Come here!” She demanded.
‘Damn’ I thought to myself. I walked back towards the kitchen, and popped my head in the door way.
“Yes Ma’am?”
“No hug or kiss today?” She asked me.
“Sorry mommy I just didn’t want to, because I feel icky from class.” I lied.
“You know I don’t care. Bring it in now,”
I pecked her on the cheek, and embraced her. As soon as I was about to let go, she grabbed my neck, bent it to the side, and pulled my turtle neck down.
“What the hell is this?” She asked looking at my awful purple hickey.
Oh my God she is going to literally kill me.
“Don’t yah ear me talkin to yah? Answer me nuh?”
I knew I screwed up. She never gets too mad, and when she does, her accent comes out just like it was now.
“In class I-” She cut me off.
“Don’t you open yah mouth to lie to me Onika.”
I didn’t know what to do, I couldn’t lie, but I’d be damned if I told her the truth.
When I didn’t answer she pushed me away from her, and gave me a weird glance.
“What’s gotten into yah? I don’t know why you think it’s alright to-“ She froze, and looked me up and down, as if she was searching for something on my body.
I was so nervous, why was she looking at me like that. It was quiet, and then she charged at me and slapped me across my face. I cringed at the pain.
“ YOU HAD SEX ONIKA?"
My heart almost leaped out of my chest, and my face felt like it had literally drooped to the ground.
“ W..Wh…What? no mommy…” I said trying to sound convincing..
“Yah think I was born yesterday huh? You think I can’t tell when my daughter has been up to something?”
I didn’t reply I just looked towards the ground.
“How many times?” She asked with her eyes closed..
She walked back and forth in the kitchen trying to calm herself.
“OPEN YOUR DAMN MOUTH WHEN I SPEAK TO YUH.”
“once…” I said barely above a whisper.
“Speak up!”
“Once. I’ve only done it once. Today was my first time,” I replied.
I was so embarrassed; I couldn’t believe I had to have this conversation with my mother.
“Yah ever heard dat sayin’ ‘If yah age pon di clock, yah too young for di cock’,” I cringed. This was such an embarrassing moment.
“GO UPSTAIRS RIGHT NOW, AND WASH UP. YOU FIND A WAY TO GET THAT NONSENSE OFF YOUR NECK! YAH HEARD MEH? AND WHEN YOU COME BACK DOWN, I GOT SOMETHIN' FOR YAH BIG GYAL SELF.”

“So yeah we gotta tell her like asap,” Nicki said concluding her story.
Safaree was laughing.
“You think that was funny? My life flashed before my eyes that day. I’ll never keep a thing from her again.”
"But you did."
"I know. I promised I'd never hide something but had to. I couldn't tell her everything." She explained.
"Well technically there was no reason to hide because she found out anyways," He said continuing to laugh.
"Shut up you doof,"
He chuckled.
“ By the way I ain’t mean to get you in that much trouble.” He said.
She looked at him weird.
“What do you mean?”
“That day we skipped school. If i’d known that you were going to get in that much trouble I would’ve waited.”
“Umm…Safaree....babe You didn’t get me in trouble. Brandon did…”
There was a weird silence.
“I thought… I thought you said I was your first?” He asked sounding a little hurt.
“Did I tell you that?”
“Um yea…you did.”
“ Oh. Well then I just was really horny, and wanted you to take control, so I pretended like I was some innocent virgin. Sorry guy.” She said nonchalantly.
“Wow… that kind of explains a lot now…” He said thinking about all the cool tricks she use to do.
“Anyways, back to the point. When do we tell mommy and family?”
“We’ll call her later on this week. I promise,” He reassured her, and She smiled.
“Okay good, now baby daddy carry me upstairs,” She stated holding her arms out, waiting for him to pick her up.
“No.” he said.
“Yes” she argued.
“No”
“Yes”
“No,”
Nicki looked down at her stomach and back up at him.
“The best dad award goes to Safaree Samuels who doesn’t want to take his beautiful PREGNANT girlfriend up the stairs, WHILE carrying his child! What a dad ladies and gentlemen,” Nicki said mimicking a commentators voice.
He rolled is eyes, and grunted.
“Why do I always fall for your guilt trips? They’re not even that good.” Nicki smiled at him caving in as he swooped her up marriage style.
“Yay!!!!” Nicki chanted.
He just shook his head. He now had to get use to the fact that there were two people who needed him a hundred percent, but little does he know how hard that is going to be.

——————————
“I’LL BE DOWN IN THE GARAGE, DON’T WASTE TIME,” Safaree yelled from downstairs.
“OKAY JUST GIVE ME 10 AND I’LL BE DOWN.” Nicki yelled back.
Nicki walked out her master bathroom with a crisp white towel wrapped around her petite body. When she walked over to her night stand, her phone lit up. It was a text from Wayne saying that she could come over the studio tomorrow. Along with his text was a missed call. She couldn’t identify who it was, because it wasn’t a number installed in her phone. She sat on the bed, put her phone on speaker, and let her towel fall as she lotioned herself. It rang for a while, and then on the last ring, a voice of excitement blared through the phone.
“NIC?”
“Oh Hey Tony!” She said happily.
“Did you get a new phone? I didn’t recognize your number.” She asked.
“Yea I did. That’s Why i’ve been trying to reach you. I wasn’t sure if you’d even call back.”
“Well I did.”
“ So how are you? Is everything okay? I’m still mad at myself for dropping you off in that intense home environment.”
Nicki laughed at the way he was already so protective over her.
“I’m fine Tone."
"What did you say I didn't catch that?"
"I SAID i'm fine Tone."
The phone fell silent. Then out of nowhere Tony's loud scream blared through the phone.
“WHOOOOOHOOOO.”
“What the hell? What you screaming in my damn phone for?” Nicki asked him confused.
“Well technically I screamed into my phone and you just happened to hear it."
She rolled her eyes at his technicalities.
"BUT I HAVE ARRIVED!” He answered.
“Arrived to what? Where are you?”
“No like I have arrived to nick name status! I’m so in there bra!
Nicki busted out laughing. She didn’t even realize she had given him a nick name. This boy was seriously entertaining to her. He was so corny, but she liked it.
“Boy sit down! I didn’t even mean to call you that, it just happened.”
“Oh nah don't down play this.,” They both laughed at his attempt to sound way more urban than he was.
“Shut up! But Tone guess what?” She said cheerfully.
“What?”
“I have the inside scoop about your job.”
He didn’t understand what she meant.
“I’m gonna tell you first, hopefully if you bring attention to it, you’ll get a promotion,” She continued to inform him.
“Okay…what is it?”
“All your pregnancy test are defected, and there needs to be a recall,”
“Really? Oh wow, thanks! I could get big money if I get the word out fast enough. Good looking out,” He said excitedly.
Nicki smiled waiting a couple of seconds to see if he got her hint.
“Wait…does this mean…”
“I’m pregnant!” She blurted out.
“Oh my gosh! Wow congrats Nicole.” Nicki cringed at the fact that he still didn’t know who she really was.
“I’m happy for you. I could tell that this is something you really wanted,” He said practically lying.
He was happy for Nic, but he was starting to have feelings for her, but that wouldn’t change the way he would be a friend to her.
“Well yea we need to meet up again sometime, because I gotta tell you some things,” She said referring to the fact that he has no clue that she isn’t Nicole.
They continued to share laughs as Nicki finished getting dressed. They talked about all the things they won’t do next time they go out, and how weird their friendship had evolved. Nicki mentioned how she didn’t know exactly what to wear anymore now that she’s pregnant. She let him know that she wasn’t showing yet, but she was already insecure. He let her know that she would look fine. As their conversation went on longer than they expected, Safaree was still waiting for Nicki in the car. After sitting there for a good thirty minutes he decided that he needed to go check on her.
“NICKI!!!” He yelled from downs the stairs.
She didn’t reply. She couldn’t hear him over the loud speaker phone giggles and conversation.
“NICKI!” He yelled once more, but still no response.
He started to worry. What if something was going wrong again. He ran up the stairs and when he reached her room, the door was cracked open. He heard her speaking to someone. She was whispering now, so he listened in.
“You were not that great,” He heard her say.
“Well next time I gotta put it down better,” She giggled.
“Well once this is over, I can tell everyone about what happened.”
Safaree’s temperature started to rise. He had no clue what she could have been talking about or to whom she was even speaking to, but he didn’t want to argue. So he just shut it down. He partially bust through the door.
“What’s taking so long yo?” He asked as if he wasn’t annoyed.
She leaped a little bit when she heard the door open.
“Hey Tony, I’ll call you back another time… Alright…bye.”
She looked at him nervously trying to see if he was mad. She stood up, picked up her purse, and walked towards him.
“Look Safaree, I about th-’’
“It’s fine. Let’s get outta here,” He said walking back down the stairs and into the garage.
Nicki wasn’t sure if that was an honest “fine” or a “fine, this is a pass, but next time it won’t be”
She shrugged her shoulders, not knowing which one it is, as she followed suit and into the garage.

*Safaree’s POV*
We walked into the deserted grocery hand in hand. I didn’t want to have to deal with paparazi, so I just brought her to this old spot.
“Safaree you sure this place is even open,” She said scanning the place.
“We inside aren’t we?” I said with an attitude.
She side eyed him.
I smirked.
Nicki observed the old shelves, and barely standing celling. She was getting anxious to get out of there. I felt her body grow tense, and I squeezed her hand to reassure her everything would be cool.
As we walked further into the place, the atmosphere began to change. The lighting in the area became brighter. There was a sign that read "The Real Wilkins Market".
Nicki seemed confused. She slowed down her pace. When I wasn't slowing down with her she stopped, and let go of my hand. I continued to walk though just to annoy her.
"Safaree!" She said raising her voice.
I stopped in my tracks and turned around laughing.
"What the fuck is funny?" She asked agitated.
"Where are you taking me? This doesn't look like no grocery store."
I walked over to her, grabbed her hand and pulled her along.
"What the hell, Safaree stop," I continued.
"I said st-" She was cut off by the sudden beaming lights of the old fashioned market he was leading her to. She stared in awe.
I looked at her expression and smiled.
"Is this a good enough grocery store?" I asked her.
She smiled widely.
"Yes."
"Great." I replied dryly grabbing a hold of her hand once again as we entered.
When we walked in we could see the whole place. It no longer looked like a beat down farmers markert; it was modernized. The lights were as bright as day, the fresh vegetables were all on, and the red meat was in a glass stainless steel display. Everywhere was so clean, and in it's place. I led us pick up a basket.
"You got the list?" I questioned.
"Mmhm. hold on."
She let go of my hand to reach into her over sized louis vuton purse.
"Here." She handed to me.
I read the fist thing off the list which was pasta.
"Okay I think that's over here," I informed her as I walked to a familiar direction.
She followed behind me, as she continued to observe the place. Once I got the pasta I placed it in the basket Nicki was holding, and looked for the next thing on the list.
We had done this list thing for about an hour.
"Catch!" Nicki Said tossing me the bar of whole cheese.
I snapped my head towards her direction barely catching it.
"You could've warned me," I complained.
"I did. Hence the word Catch." She defended as she walked over to me.
I gave her a fake angry face and thew the cheese in the basket. She giggled.
I stared at her for a little taking in her beautiful smile. I had to have her. I pulled her into my embrace. She lightly placed her hand on my chest and smile up at me.
"What boi?"
I didn't rely. I bent down and captured her lips. The soft touch of her lips always made my heart beat fast. It was a light kiss until she took her hand and stared caressing the back of my head. I deepened the kiss allowing her lips to lock even harder togther. Nicki rose to the tip of her toes and brought her other hand up, now resting her arms on the back of my neck. I felt like she was asking for it, so I gave it to her as I slowly snuck my tongue in her mouth. She added fuel to the fire by letting her tongue play with mine. A faint moan came from her lips, and I just wanted to take her right there and-
*THWACK*
My thoughts were cut off by the loud sound of our eggs cracking. My grip on the basket had loosened, and I dropped it.
"Damn." She said letting her arms fall back to her sides.
"My bad." I apologized and went to try and clean up the mess.
Nicki grabbed my hand stopping me.
"How bout we just leave it there and leave?" She whispered.
"But-"
"Yea that sounds like a good Idea to me. So lets go." She said as she walked away.
I quickly took the eggs out the basket. I didn't want to just leave it there in the middle of the aisle so I just slid it under one of the vegetable stands. I picked up the basket and ran after her. She was practically already in line. I observed her from the back. She is so damn sexy, I can't believe I get this all to myself. She turned around and took the basket out of my hands, as she placed each item on the belt. I stood behind her and let my crotch rest on her butt so she knew what I was thinking. She shook her head and nudged me in my stomach. I smiled.
As the cashier was putting our final items in the bag I pulled my phone out and sent he a text that read: "You better be glad that we're in public."
I watched her look at it, and then put it down.
SweetTreat: "And you better be glad I ain't horny, otha wise you'd be sorry."
She looked down at her phone again, but before she could reply the lady handed her the bags.
"Oh no, you can give these to him." She told the woman while pointing to me.
"He's my superman. He can handle it." She smiled at me with those dimples I loved to see.
I gathered all the bags, and she led us out through the broken down entrance. I snuck up behind her and whispered in her ear.
"So I'm super man eh?" I smirked.
"Don't fill your head up." She laughed.
I quickened my pace so I could reach her.
I kissed her neck, "mmhmm just let me live."

How was it? Did y'all like it? I tried to do a little happy OF for y'all since there's been so much drama. But yea COMMENT!!!
